Bordeaux Cité Tango Code of Conduct.

Festival values :


The BCT festival is particularly keen to provide and maintain a safe, pleasant and friendly environment for its festival-goers and all its staff. Access to the festival implies adherence to this charter and a commitment on the part of everyone to make Bordeaux Cité Tango a place of respect for all diversities.

Festival participants must not encounter any form of harassment, discrimination or aggression, whether on the grounds of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, physical appearance, weight, colour, religion or beliefs of any kind.

For this reason, the festival will not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination or aggression.

Harassment, discrimination or aggression refers to any unwanted physical, verbal or non-verbal (including digital) conduct that has the purpose or effect of violating the safety or dignity of an individual or of creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading or humiliating environment for that individual.

What to do in the event of harassment or assault?

The festival invites any participant who feels he or she has been the victim of inappropriate, discriminatory and/or degrading behaviour to contact any member of the Bordeaux Cité Tango staff. The festival will make it its duty to support the person, by directing them to the appropriate associations, in the action it intends to take in response to this behaviour.
